What: The NC Bicycle Friendly Driver Program: How to Safely Co-Exist on the Road with People on Bikes and Other Vulnerable Road Users

When: Thursday, June 23rd from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Where: Jaycee Park Community Center located at 2405 Wade Ave in Raleigh

Join BikeWalk NC for a free and fun event to help motorists to learn together and become stronger allies of active transportation users. We’ll feed you and facilitate an interactive (and even entertaining) workshop. 

Attendees will learn about and discuss:

  • Motorist driving habits that impact active transportation users;
  • Bicyclist safety practices;
  • Preventing common crashes  between motorists and active transportation users; and
  • Active transportation user infrastructure and Complete Streets concepts.
