Oaks and Spokes is having it’s annual members meeting this January (details to come soon), and we have 3 open board positions up for election:
Finance Coordinator – Makes sure that the financials of the organization are kept in order, including filing with the IRS.
Marketing Coordinator – Let the world know about Oaks & Spokes! Write this monthly newsletter.
At-Large Coordinators – Choose your own adventure. Dream up whatever you think can most improve the organization, and make it happen.
Oaks & Spokes Board Members must:
1) Be an Oaks & Spokes member (you can sign up at https://oaksandspokes.com/get-involved/membership-signup)
2) Live or work within the corporate limits of Raleigh
3) Serve a 2-year term
4) Attend monthly Board meetings
5) Be actively involved in one or more of the standing committees.
6) Have 2-3 hours a week on average to dedicate to O&S
The main requirement though is a passion for making Raleigh a better place for people on bikes!
