Bike Month is Here!

Thank you for riding your bike!

It’s National Bike Month and our 6th annual Spring Bike Festival!

What does that mean? It means you have an array of bike-related activities all throughout the month to help inspire you to adventure the city of Raleigh by bike. Oaks & Spokes has been working hard with our volunteers and local partnerships to provide a truly outstanding lineup of events.

Our partnerships and generous sponsors:

A mighty thank you to David Eichenberger for our swirling squirrels design for our festival. For more great art by a great human being, visit David’s website: http://dmeichenberger.com/

Please visit our Spring Festival 2018 page for additional information on each event!

We have an amazing pool of spectacular volunteers that have given their time, passion, and dedication.

They have conceived alley cat riddles to take you through an intimate exploration of the city, a bike ride to introduce the community to local art and artists, and a silent ride to pay respects to our fallen cyclists. Come repair bikes with us for those who need them, help kids ride bikes through an obstacle course, and have a tea party with some of your favorite women who ride bikes. Swap bike parts for bike builds you didn’t know you would want to build, get on your bike and commute to work, or come ride with your government officials, city employees, and your fellow Raleigh citizens. Light up the night in our spectacle ride and cruise over for our bike-in movie and a BBQ potluck in an urban farm in downtown Raleigh to watch BMX Bandits.

Oaks & Spokes invites you to come out and see Raleigh by bike, engage with your neighborhoods in a new way, and meet the community of people who ride bikes. We’re excited to present to you our Spring Festival and hope we can help you find more reasons to get on your bike and ride.

See you at our awesome events and thank you for riding your bike!
