The Indy Week’s yearly “Best of the Triangle” issue is a time honored tradition, where local establishments vie for the coveted title of “Best Of” in their category.
Since this is the first year we’ve been eligible as a non-profit, we’d be honored if you would consider nominating Oaks and Spokes for any of the categories below. More importantly, we’d love for you to cast a vote on Best Place to Bike and Best Use of Public Money (yay bicycle infrastructure!). As with riding your bike, visibility is key! We are hoping to be nominated in order to increase our visibility in the community as a strong advocate for cyclists and better bike infrastructure.
Nominations for the first round are being accepted now until March 5th, and this is the only time that write-ins are accepted. You can find the ballot here. Thank you for your support, and happy voting (and riding)!
How It Works:
- Nominations will be accepted February 13th through Sunday, March 5th.
- Only the top four nominees in each category appear on the final ballot.
- The final ballot will be open April 17th – May 7th.
- The results will be posted in the Best of the Triangle issue on June 7th.
There is no submit button! As soon as you click “Nominate”, your nomination is saved. Your BOT log-in is separate from indyweek.com. But if you voted last year, you can use the same info.
Vote your heart out. There is no minimum vote requirement.
Please feel free to vote for us in any sub-category you feel we deserve to be nominated. Others have voted for us in the following categories:
- Best Non-Profit in Wake County
- Best Local Non-Profit
- Best Local Facebook Page
- Best Local Instagram Account
Thank you again for supporting Oaks & Spokes as we strive to make biking in Raleigh a better experience for all people!
