Once Upon a Time in Raleigh…

Hey! Do you have a minute? There's a little story we want to tell.
Hey! Do you have a minute? There’s a story I want to tell you about a city in the South.  It shouldn’t take too long.
The place is Raleigh, North Carolina. The time is right now.
The setting is Raleigh, North Carolina. You might have heard of it.  We make a lot of lists for the “Top ten city for” this or “One of the best places” to do that.

We're growing rather quickly.
Which means we’ve got new urban development. And days where it storms bicyclists in tweed. Things they are a-changing.
We've got a lot of new families.
New families are moving here all the time.
And they bring unfamiliar contraptions and technologies.
And these folks bring unfamiliar contraptions and technologies.
And a variety
A variety of intriguing new businesses are opening that reflect the desires and changing demographics of the city.
And for a city our size, sometimes parking is hard to find.
For a city our size, with the new growth comes growing pains.  Sometimes parking is hard to find.
And congestion. Ugh. It stinks to spend so much time in traffic doesn't it?
And we’ve certainly got our fair share of congestion, too.
And now and again, you might have to wait in line to get a donut.
You might even have to wait in line at a classy restaurant.  The guy in the middle is certainly sick of waiting but I expect he’ll be ok.
But I'd say that that Raleigh is pretty balanced.
But all in all I’d say that that Raleigh is fairly balanced.
We’ve got weather that will lift your spirits.
And economic drivers.
And of course, a diversity of economic drivers.
Lets raise one up for Raleigh
Most days it seems that happiness is certainly within reach.
If we've got you thinking about whether or not you'd fit in
If we’ve got you thinking about whether or not you’d fit in here in Raleigh.
Whether you'd like the culture
Whether or not you’d like the culture
Or the pace.
or the pace.

If your family would be happy here
If you are concerned whether your family would be happy here.
My advice is to just sit back and enjoy the ride.
My advice is to you is simply this — Just relax, sit back, and enjoy the ride.
